In order to help young teachers grow up and build a professional team of teachers with excellent quality, on the morning of 21st February, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Junior High Department of the west campus held the ‘Blue Project’ mentoring pair meeting of the new semester in the conference room on the second floor of the administrative building. Principal Assistant Hu Qilin and Director Zhang Li of the Teaching Department attended the meeting.
To be concrete, the school leaders emphasized that the ‘Blue Project’ is a long-standing tradition of education and teaching in our school, which not only provides good conditions for young teachers to adapt to education and teaching work as soon as possible, accelerates their professional growth, but also builds a platform for the pair teachers to benefit from teaching and learning. In addition, this semester's mentoring pair requirements are really pragmatic and down-to-earth. In the meantime, the school leaders put forward higher and more specific requirements for teachers, suggesting that the instructors should assign homework to young teachers and help them get familiar with the question types in the Senior High School Entrance Examination and the General Examination for Students from Various Schools so that they would be familiar with the key points in the exams. On the other hand, young teachers are required to listen to lectures more, solve more problems, think more, improve more, and make clear the types of lectures they should choose and consult their instructors.
To conclude, knowledge is infinite. It’s believed that young teachers will cherish the precious learning opportunities and grow up as soon as possible under the guidance of their instructors so as to stand firm in the classroom and constantly improve the quality of classroom teaching.
